Progress is an Android app for documenting long-term visual change with the phone camera. Core feature ("Ghost Mode"): when taking a new photo, the previous photo of the same project is shown as a semi-transparent overlay on the live camera viewfinder, with an adjustable opacity slider and grid/center/horizon alignment guides, so every shot is framed identically. Users create projects (fitness/body transformation, weight, beard growth, hair, skin, braces, tattoo healing, recovery, pregnancy and baby growth, home renovation, plants and gardening, art practice, etc.), each with a category, cover image and shooting frequency, and build a photo timeline over weeks or months. Other features: before/after comparison of any two dates (drag slider, side-by-side, crossfade), a "Timelapse Studio" that renders the photo series into a video on the device (choice of fps, transition, aspect ratio 9:16 / 1:1 / 16:9, background, day labels) and lets the user share or save it, streak/consistency rings, favourites, archive of finished journeys, and importing existing photos from the device gallery. The app is fully offline and has NO account system, NO sign-up, NO login, NO social feed and NO backend server owned by us. All photos and project metadata are stored only on the device: photos as blobs in IndexedDB, metadata in localStorage. Photos never leave the device unless the user explicitly uses the system share sheet. Monetization: NO ADVERTISING of any kind and no ad SDK. The app is free to download with a limited free tier (2 projects, first 10 frames in a timelapse export, watermark on exported videos). "Progress Premium" is an auto-renewing subscription sold through Google Play Billing: product id "progress_premium", base plan "weekly" at $3.99 per week, with a 3-day free trial offer ("freetrial3d") for new subscribers. Premium unlocks unlimited projects, full-length HD timelapse export, no watermark and all comparison modes. A "Restore purchases" option is available. Subscriptions are managed and cancelled by the user in Google Play. Permissions: CAMERA (used only while the user is on the capture screen, to take progress photos; the camera stream is stopped when leaving the screen or backgrounding the app; nothing is recorded or streamed anywhere). INTERNET (used only to fetch a small remote configuration file with feature flags and to communicate with Google Play Billing). Audience: general audience, rated for adults (18+), not directed at children. Because users often photograph their own body, body photos are treated as sensitive personal content — which is exactly why the app is designed so that they never leave the device. The app UI is available in 8 languages (EN default, TR, DE, ES, FR, IT, PT, AR) but the Google Play listing is English only.
