Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Progress: Before & After ("the app"), published by Hugo Software. By installing or using the app you agree to them.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app.
Your content
The photos and projects you create are yours. They are stored on your device and we never receive them, so we claim no rights over them and take no responsibility for their safekeeping.
Back up your device. Because your photos live only on your device, they are lost if you uninstall the app, clear the app's data, or lose or reset the device. A long progress series can represent months of work — treat it accordingly.
Acceptable use
Photograph only yourself, people who have agreed to it, or property and subjects you are entitled to photograph. Do not use the app to record anyone without their knowledge or consent, and do not use it for any unlawful purpose. You are solely responsible for the content you capture.
Progress Premium subscription
The app is free to download and includes a limited free tier. Progress Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks unlimited projects, full-length HD timelapse export, removal of the watermark and all comparison modes.
- Price: $3.99 per week, or the equivalent in your local currency as shown in Google Play before you confirm.
- Free trial: new subscribers get 3 days free. If you cancel before the trial ends you are not charged.
- Renewal: the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before that period ends.
- Billing: payment is charged to your Google Play account. All payment processing is done by Google Play; we never see your payment details.
- Cancelling: cancel at any time in Google Play > Subscriptions. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the period already paid for.
- Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription.
Prices may change. If a price changes, Google Play will notify you and ask for your consent before charging the new price.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Google Play under its own refund policy, not by us. If you believe you were charged in error, contact Google Play support; you may also write to us at [email protected] and we will help where we can.
Availability and changes
We may update, change or discontinue features of the app. We try to avoid removing features you rely on, but the app is provided as it is at any given time.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Progress is a photo-documentation tool. It is not a medical, diagnostic or health device, and nothing in it constitutes medical, fitness or health advice. Do not rely on it for any medical decision.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Hugo Software is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of photos or data stored on your device. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Where you deal with us as a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend the licence if you breach these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as the app evolves; the current version is always available at this address.
