Data Removal
Last updated: July 22, 2026
This page explains how to delete data created by Progress: Before & After.
Short version
We hold no data about you. Progress has no account system and no server of ours. Every photo and every project stays on your device, so deleting them is something you do yourself — and when you do, the data is gone completely. There is no server-side copy, and no request to us is needed.
Delete individual photos or projects
Inside the app, press and hold a project to delete it, or open a project and remove individual photos from its timeline. Deleted items are removed from the device's storage.
Delete everything
Either:
- Uninstall the app. Android removes the app's entire local storage, including all photos and projects; or
- Clear the app's data: Android Settings > Apps > Progress > Storage > Clear data.
Both actions are permanent and cannot be undone. Exported videos or photos you previously saved to your gallery or shared elsewhere are separate copies and are not affected — delete those where they live.
Subscription data
If you subscribed to Progress Premium, the record of that purchase is held by Google Play, not by us. To manage or delete it, use your Google account controls:
- Cancel: Google Play Store > profile picture > Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions.
- Purchase history is part of your Google account; see Google's privacy controls.
Deleting or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in Google Play.
Requesting deletion from us
There is nothing for us to delete, because we never receive your data. If you have sent us information yourself — for example the contents of a support email — you can ask us to delete that correspondence at any time:
Write "Data deletion request" in the subject. We will confirm within 30 days.
